| | Hi Nomads, I hope everyone is well and playing good golf.
I thought i'd just give an update on my golf the last few months just as some more background information about myself.
At the end of last year, I travelled over to Thailand for the Singha World Junior Championships. Over 150 worldwide junior golfers competed, each being the top few ranked in their countries. I ended up coming tied 10th in the 13-14 year old division. I played with some of the world's best juniors and gained lots of experience from the trip.
This year I have competed in several more junior tournaments and the results are as followed:
- 2nd Runner up in the Harvey Norman Week of Golf - Ashlar Junior Open Champion - Runner up in the State Medals. (I came 2nd in a 3-way playoff that lasted 5 holes and i even had a couple of birdies during those 5 holes) - Top 40 in the Australian Boys Amatuer Championships - 5th Overall in the South West Rocks Junior Masters - Chosen for the State of Origin team
This year's start hasnt been the greatest but im working hard and waiting patiently for a good tournament to come through.
Thanks Nomads,
Regards, Ruben |

Venue Change at March's Game |

| | Nomads, We have a change of venue for March's game. Bayview have made a very poor error of judgement and have double booked their course with us and a Pennant game. We unfortunately lose out and instead have been lucky enough to get on at St Michaels on the same day at the same price. If you have booked to play Bayview and are not happy with the change of venue please email

. The JVC and Captain have been calling all registered players to inform them of the change of venue and an email will be sent out soon. In the meantime we have closed registration as we have over 60 players. We expect a few people to drop out and will open registration should that happen to a significant extent. If you like me are as unimpressed with the unapologetic and unprofessional behaviour towards Nomads by Bayview Golf Club then fill out the form on their website at http://www.bayviewgolfclub.com/contents/1754-contact to notify them of your displeasure or better still, if you have a Twitter or Facebook account post an update of your opinion. |

February Game at Camden Lakeside |
Written by Chris Fichardt

| | Members, We had our February game at Camden Lakeside where I am especially happy to announce that we had the single biggest field ever for a monthly game of 56 players + visitors. The club now has a very active membership who want to play regularly, this results in our field normally of 48 spots filling up very quickly so if you do want to play you need to get in and register within days of registration opening. This month, when you try to register you will be taken to a survey of 12 questions which you will have to answer before you can get to the registration page. We are looking to get some feedback in order to gauge how you feel the club is being run. Once we have all the data assembled we will publish the results. Finally, we are looking for members to submit articles or content for the website and Scorecard newslette. If you have something good to submit email it to
