As you are all aware this year we are sponsoring two JNJGF Juniors, Jordan Zunic and Ryan Smith.

This weekend Jordan is playing in two tournaments in Sydney which are open to the public should you wish to go and support him

As you might be aware our National President BigJo Landsberg and Sydney North Secretary, Myles Craye both attended the 2009 South Aftrian Grand Nationals tournament in Durban. BigJo has the insight to bring back the special magazine that was created for the Tournament. 

If you have been following Myles's blog you would have seen how huge the tournament was so to give you a flavour of that and in the hope that we will have a good sized Australian contingent from both Brisbane and Sydney to go and hand the Bokke a good whipping next year I have scanned the entire Magazine into a PDF document for you to download.

Wednesday 22^nd April 2009

Wednesday was a rest day for Emilio and Johan and I played.  Johan teed off at Royal Durban and shot a great 35 points and won a prize for best playing 4 ball and was counted out for second in his division. I also won a prize with a well-constructed and hard-fought 23 points. I won most golf at the very nice Umhlali Golf Club on the North Coast

Tuesday 21^st April 2009

This was a rest day for Johan and me. We dropped Emilio at the Royal course and then we headed down to visit some friends of Johan’s down the South Coast. We had a great day and travelled back to Durban late afternoon to get ready for the prize giving and again Johan had official functions to attend. Emilio shot a 30 pointer in a strong wind.

That evening we attended prize giving where we consumed the donated wine and again Captain Morgan managed to find us amongst the crowd. Off the record, he is beginning to have an effect on us all so I am hoping we will be able to avoid him tomorrow, but we don’t want to upset him
